The OOC is excited to launch its first-ever online training module. This interactive course, with introductions by Congresswoman Jackie Speier (CA) and Congresswoman Susan Brooks (IN), will inform managers and staff how to recognize and prevent sexual harassment in the Congressional workplace.

The OOC provides education and training on workplace protections to the entire Congressional community. During FY14, in-person training requests from individual Congressional offices kept the OOC busy. However, the desire to better reach employees in the State and District offices remained a challenge. As a part of its on-line training initiative, the OOC intends to expand its course offerings to include all protections under the CAA, and in a format convenient for Congressional employees throughout the country.

In addition to its on-line training initiative, the OOC will continue to conduct in-person training for offices of the legislative branch upon request. Legislative branch employees and offices are encouraged to visit the OOC’s website, www.compliance.gov, for more information on workplace rights and responsibilities, or call the Office at 202-724-9250.
